Monasterio de Sta. Clara

Right after my Final Interview, Ads advised me to go to St. Claire and write my petition to the "Poor Clares". This is what he did daw when he took his licensure exam.
I told him that offering eggs to St. Clare are only for people that are praying for good weathers. I was wrong :) hehe!
So I gave it a try. I am not the religious type that would go and attend the mass every Sunday, but I really believe that God exists and I talked to him every night. I always pray to Him not  because I need anything from Him, but rather, I pray to thank Him. My mere existence is already a blessing.

So, back to St. Clare, I was kind of "shy" because I really don't pray just to ask for something. My first visit to St. Clare was last March 27. I went there around 9am. I bought 1 dozen of egg, prayed to the big St. Clare idol outside and then proceeded to the petition area. It's really obvious what I wrote in my petition. I left St. Clare feeling really light and contented. I took some of the novena with me :)

Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and future"

Pain

Can pain drift away?
Flow to the stream of oblivion...
glide to the realm of nothingness
shut away from the state of reality

can it be outrun?
refuse its existence...
and be ripped from our very core?

My First Attempt With Blogging

I never thought that I would like writing. I know in my self that I don't have the talent for it. But upon reading a lot of blogs, I decided to give it a try. Starting now, April 27, I will try my best to update this site and hope that I would be able to share a lot of things based from my personal experiences. As you can see, the name of my blog is Skedaddle-meaning to escape, run away or leave in a hurry. This blog will be my personal sanctuary, my escape from the real world. See yah! ;)
